Polokwane City star dies


PSL outfit Polokwane City has confirmed that Mogau Trinity Tshehla (26) , from Lydenburg  has died in a car accident.
According to the clubs’ media officer, Vusi Ntimane, the accident occurred on the Kwagga Road outside Johannesburg last Sunday night. “It is with our deepest sorrows that we inform you of the death of our defender, Mogau Tshehla who passed on in a car accident. Our thoughts are with the family, teammates and friends.”
Ntimane added that they do not know what caused the crash. The whole team was off that weekend, thus it is it not known where he came from or where he was heading.
Tshehla, also a former Mashishing Secondary student, played in the team’s last fixture in the Nedbank Cup against Ubuntu Cape Town last week, joined Rise and Shine in January 2017 from the National First Division side, Witbank Spurs after having signed a three-year deal.
The club also announced the news on its Twitter account, with many other clubs sharing heartfelt messages across social media.
